Mudeford Wood Community Centre - Something for Everyone

The Mudeford Wood Community Trust is an independant non profit organisation and was formed to lease the Mudeford Wood Community Centre from Christchurch Borough Council from April 2012 to run The Centre for the benefit of local residents.

The aims of the Trust are:

To provide services and resources that will support the area and individuals.

To improve the quality of life for the residents of Mudeford and it's environs.

Mudeford Wood Community Centre (MWCC) is a spacious community facility run by local residents and available to everyone in the neighbouring area. The Centre is home to many regular clubs and classes, and can also be hired for private parties or events. MWCC has been owned and run by Christchurch Borough Council since the late 1980's, but when the Centre was marked for closure, a group of passionate local residents got together and successfully campaigned to keep the Centre open.

In April 2012 Mudeford Wood Community Trust, a charitable organisation established to manage MWCC, will take over the day to day management of the Centre. Mudeford Wood Community Centre offers something for all the family – from Playgroup to Pilates, from Kaleidoscope Dance Troop to Over 50s Tennis, from Christchurch Woodturners to Spinning Classes – so check out the Clubs and Classes page and come and join us.
